Iranian opposition Grand Gathering bring forth the hope of freedom to Iran

The Iranian resistance’s Grand Gathering in Paris was the event of the year. One of the most important statements was that from the US delegation where they confirmed that the new US government will work with the Iranian resistance against the Iranian regimes mullahs to ensure a free Iran. This statement triggered a chain of incidents orchestrated by the Mullahs in Tehran. 

The Iranian regime is mad because the US government supports the resistance and as revenge, they have produced a number of lies in

an attempt to get the world leaders to end their support to MEK / PMOI. One of these lies was the one claiming that PMOI offered     300 000 $ to the Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas to participate in the Gathering. This is false of course. One other was that the Iranian embassy in France is in danger of an attack, they also asked France why they allowed the Grand Gathering to take place. A third lie claims that the PMOI does live broadcast from Saudi Arabia. 

All these efforts from the regime show the importance of holding a Grand Gathering and that Maryam Rajavi is right about the three fundamental truths she mentioned in her speech. 

Her speech entitled « three fundamental truths for obtaining freedom in Iran, peace and tranquility in the middle east». She began her speech by paying tribute to the over 100 000 dignitaries, politicians and activists from all over the world who came together to publically call for a regime change in Iran.  There have been three major developments since last year. 

1. Foiling the Iranian Regime’s plan to annihilate the resistance movement by relocating members of the MEK to safety in Albania.

2. The failure of the US and Europe’s policy of appeasement towards the Iranian regime.

3. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s defeat in the sham election.  

Maryam Rajavi said: to the ruling mullahs we say, do whatever you can; say and make up whatever you want against our movement in your Friday prayer masquerades, but beware that the same people for years whom you claimed had been annihilated, are present in the scene and have come after you. The same people you hanged and whose graves you concealed have risen again as a new generation of rebellious youths who, with their calls for justice, have encircled your regime. The noose you tightened around the necks of Iran’s valiant youths, have turned into rings of fire from which you have no escape. 

She also spoke of three fundamental truths for obtaining freedom in Iran, and peace in the Middle East:

1. The Iranian regime must be overthrown

2. The overthrow is within reach.

3. The Iranian Resistance  (NCRI/MEK) is capable of toppling the Regime.

Mrs. Rajavi said that the winds of change have started to blow in our homeland. The ruling regime is in disarray and paralyzed as never before. Iranian society is simmering with discontent and the international community is finally getting closer to the reality that appeasing the ruling theocracy is misguided. She added that the conclusion is what the resistance has emphasized since the outset and many in the world have reached today: The solution, and the only solution, is regime change.
