Join freedom loving Iranians at the Grand Gathering in Paris on July 1

Most of you have noticed our advertisement that urges you to join freedom loving Iranians at the Grand Gathering in Paris on July 1, 2017. The Gathering this year have the pledge of stopping the Iranian regime's meddling in the middle east region.  Like every year before there will be prominent speakers this year too, on the occasion of this gathering, the NCRI have received support from several politicians all around the world.

The Italian Senator Luigi Compagna from the Italian senate's foreign committee issued a message expressing his support for the Iranian Grand Gathering. He stated “We will be taking part in this major rally to express our support for those who struggle for

freedom in Iran….this rally, is in support of people who are united for democracy. He also added that in the recent days we have witnessed dreadful events, during the days after Rouhanis re-election 18 people have been executed. the Obama deal opened up to a dangerous and irresponsible path for Iran but the recent sanctions made by the Trump administration will rebalance the irresponsible measures of the previous US government, Compagna added.

Otto Bernhardt, president of the German Solidarity Committee for a free Iran and member of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation board of directors, sent a message support for the upcoming Gathering. The nuclear deal that Obama made with Iran did not improve the daily life of ordinary Iranians. In fact, under Rouhani, the executions per capita has risen alarmingly and there are no signs that it will change under Rouhanis second term. He also said that facing such a regime there is a democratic opposition. The National Council of Resistance of Iran has a clear agenda for change in Iran in the course of human rights and credible democratic values. Mrs. Rajavi is the president-elect of this council. They seek positive change inside Iran. he added, “I hope the mullahs’ regime comes to an end soon, paving the path for the Tehran Spring”.

Lord Carlyle and Lord Clark, two prominent members of the British House of Lords, also sent messages of support for the upcoming Gathering. This is a very important gathering… and I will join in line and with the aim of establishing a new government in Iran that I hope will be governed by responsible individuals, such as Mrs. Rajavi, said Lord Carlyle.
The Iranian opposition conference will aim to keep the beacon of democratic freedoms alive forever, and this is very important…our message to this gathering is to realize regime change to end crackdown and executions in Iran, Lord Clark emphasized.  In recent years the Gathering has had approximately 100 000 participants from all over the world, this show how much support the Iranian resistance is receiving from freedom lovers and human rights activists around the world. 

The support you give for the Iranian resistance will make a difference for the suppressed, harassed and abused people of Iran. The NCRI have a clear agenda for the future Iran that is stated in their 10 point plan, and two of these points are of utmost importance for the middle east: nr 9 “Our foreign policy will be based on peaceful coexistence, international and regional peace and cooperation, as well as respect for the United Nations Charter.” and nr 10: “We want a non-nuclear Iran free of weapons of mass destruction.”
