Expel Iran from Syria and establish Safe zone

It is about time there is established safe zones in Syria,  there have been almost 6 years of war and the children of Syria needs to be able to get their childhood back. some of the children do not know any other reality except that of bombs and killings. they have forgotten how it is to be a child. they are living in a world where bombs, killings, and loss of family members are normal.  The images that are emerging from the southern parts of Idlib province in Syria is very disturbing. like the one of little Abdel-baset who lost his legs by an Assad bomb. He cried for his father and he lost his mother and sister in the attack. He survived but there are many children who are not so lucky.

There are approximately 250 000 Syrian children that are living

under siege and are in danger of being killed by Assad's barrel bombs at present. The cities under siege in Syria have been under a lot of pressure by Assad and his allies, starvation, denied access to clean drinking water,  and they are under continuous bombardment with barrel bombs or napalm bombs.

We have high hopes that the new administration in Washington is capable to set up safe Zones in the most critical areas. It seems like president Trump is the right man to set up these safe zones and to have the authority to make Assad obey. The president has during his election campaign pledged to establish safe zones to curb the refugee crises. He gave his secretary of state 90 days from 20 January to formulate a roadmap for the proposal.  Saudi Arabia, The Emirates and Turkey expressed support for the move but Russia, Iran and Assad opposed the initiative. Later on the Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov raised the possibility of discussing the matter with the UN human rights Council and other organizations.
It is now up to Iran alone to keep Assad in power.
The challenges to be able to establish safe zones are many, first there has to be a recognition from the UN Security Council in form of a resolution or accord. But if needed USA certainly have the power, assets and resources to do it alone. The most important issue for US will be to make sure Iran is prevented from putting a wrench in it. There is no doubt that Assad has no interest of safe zones in Syria, he is more interested in collecting all the rebels in one area and bomb them to hell. We saw what he did in Aleppo and he is now trying to repeat the genocide in Idlib if we don't stop him.
And as always it is the children that suffer the most. But in every war, it is the civilians that get killed first also in Syria. Assad has tried to hide the fact that he is a dictatorial tyrant that has prisons where the guards only job is to torture prisoners. but the truth is out and the leaders of the world can no longer pretend like they do not know what Assad is doing in Syria. it is time the world takes a stand and stand with the innocent civilians in Syria.
We have seen pictures of people starving to death due to lack of food, the cities under siege has limited access to food and there are no chance to avoid that some die of starvation. But this can be prevented if we demand that Assad has to let food aid in to prevent more deaths.  There must be a united voice demanding that Assad steps down and let the people of Syria get freedom and democracy, the children have suffered enough.
