Iran must be stopped as a state sponsor of terrorism

On July 3, the Ontario Court upholds the $ 1.7 B judgment against Iran, ruling in favor of American victims of terrorism.
This ruling is a major victory for the victims of terrorism and it holds Iran accountable for its support of Hamas and Hezbollah during terror campaigns from the 1980s through 2002. The court rejected the state’s immunity and accused Tehran of trying to derail Canada’s justice for victims of terrorism act. They said that the very fact that a foreign government would engage in the sponsorship of such atrocities as the acts of Hezbollah and Hamas is chilling. To use peaceful legislative means to combat terrorism is entirely consistent with Canadian legal morals.

The list of terrorist activity is long: in 1983 Hezbollah killed 241 American servicemen, in 1984 Hezbollah killed 14 people, various kidnappings in the 1980’s one ended in a hanging and others were tortured.  Three bombings in the 1990’s by terrorist organizations

Shut down illegal Iranian regime election sites in the U.S.

This petition is important to sign, by doing that u will show your support to the Iranian people.

“Iranian opposition groups have called on Iranians to boycott the upcoming May 19 presidential [s]elections, in which candidates previously selected by the regime are allowed to engage in a state-sponsored masquerade of democracy.
In an attempt to bolster its legitimacy, the Iranian regime has announced that it will open 56 polling places across the United States where Iranian citizens can vote, 17 of which have been identified.

We ask President Donald J. Trump to shut down these illegal election sites and take all appropriate legal action against those involved in renting, providing, manning or otherwise servicing these facilities under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) and other authorities.”
This is the petition that we are urging you to sign, this is a petition that is calling out the Iranian regime for their sham elections. This is a petition to the American administration to take a stand against the murderous mullahs of Iran and to stand on the right side of history. This is a petition to support the Iranian opposition's fight for freedom and democracy in Iran.
No Iran poll station in Canada

The news of Canada's denial of polling stations in Canada was very good indeed, this because it is all a sham, make no mistake, there is no real election in Iran, it is an announcement of whom Khamenei has selected as the next president. Please help us stop this sham.

denial of Iranian polling stations in Canada is good news

The news about the decision of the federal government denial of Iranian polling stations in Canada is good news if you see it from the Iranian people’s point of view. According to the Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC), they believe that the decision will not damper the efforts to renew diplomatic relations between Canada and Iran. Our hope is that the Canadian government votes in favor of Bill S-219 and that they think of the welfare of the Iranian people before profit. It is of utmost importance that the regime does not get any diplomatic relations with other countries before they respect and uphold the human rights bill.
Canadian Federal government

There are human rights violations in Iran daily and the violations are of grave character. The only hope to save the innocent people of Iran is that the Canadian Senators understand the deceiving mullahs lobbying and that they are setting demands on Iran to uphold human rights before they do any kind of business with them. The ICC does not think that the American president’s approach towards Iran will have any influence on the Canadian approach to Iran, but we hope that the Canadian government does not give the Iranian regime any slack when it comes to demands related to Human Rights.
Iran Election 2017

If we look at Iran at present day the regime denies to break any human rights but we have evidence that they are in fact violating human rights by imprisoning political opponents, they imprison journalists or get them flogged. The list of daily violations are long and bloody, the worst violations are that of juvenile executions. Children at the age of 15 for boys and 9 for girls can be sentenced to death in Iran. all this must be in the back of your head when you are considering to reestablish diplomatic relations with Iran. if the Canadian government is renewing their diplomatic relations with the Iranian regime they are indirectly approving the regime’s human rights violations and that will be a black stain on the Canadian government.
We, therefore, urge the Canadian government to be cautious when they are dealing with the Iranian clerics and are willing to halt the negotiations until the evidence of human rights violations is looked upon and estimated.
To all Canadians I send a plea, please urge your Senate members to vote in favor of Bill S-219. By doing that you will save a lot of Iranian lives.

Dual citizens in jail in Iran as hostages

The human rights violations in Iran are of grave character as we can read heartbreaking stories of innocent civilian citizens that are being imprisoned from 5 to18 years on bogus charges. I will tell you some of their stories.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe

Robin (Reza) Shahini
: On October 15, 2016, Shahini was sentenced to18 years in prison for acting against national security, participating in protest gatherings in 2009, collaborating with Voice ofAmerica (VOA) television and insulting the sacred on Facebook by the Revolutionary Court in Gorgan.

Canadian sanctions on Iran-Canada should blacklist IRGC

In a time where we are witnessing how vast and violent the Iranian regime’s actions in the middle east are, it is important to vote for sanctions against this terrorist regime. We are witnessing how the IRGC is committing genocide in Syria. and we are witnessing how the regime is suppressing their own people and the IRGC is a threat to peace and stability in the whole Middle East region.

Bill s-219 is currently up for debate in the Canadian senate chamber, this Bill contains pretty much the same set of sanctions that are up for debate in the US congress. It is of utmost importance that the Canadian senate decides to vote in favor of the Bill, this to slow down the terrorism committed by the IRGC in Syria and Iraq, but also to slow down or get abolished the terrorism that the regime is committing inside their own borders.
The regime’s lobbyists are trying to make us believe that these sanctions will harm the people more than the regime but it is a well-known fact that trade sanctions will harm the regime most since all major companies in Iran are either owned by the IRGC or the supreme leader.  The nuclear deal that was struck with Iran in 2015 released a flow of billions of dollars in cold hard cash into the regime in Tehran, and all of this money was spent fueling the war in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The people of Iran did not benefit from this flow of cash into Iran,  and therefore we must uphold the sanctions and must set further sanctions in motion if Iran breaks any deals. Thankfully more and more governments realize that the nuclear deal with Iran was a disaster and that the appeasement policy by Obama was a failure that must never be repeated. Iran has shown us over and over that, they do not respect any deals they have signed.  We must do all in our power to hinder Iran from developing nuclear weapons in order to secure the safety of Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.  So we will like to thank the senate in Canada for the proposal of Bill s-219 and we will like to further encourage the senators to work for peace and stability in the middle east by giving you all our support In your work. We must keep working towards peace and stability in the middle east region and to be frank, that will never happen with the current Iranian regime. All sorts of information on bill S-219 is available at LEGISinfo, provided by the Library of Canadian Parliament. You can also read the full text of the bill.

Why is the Canadian foreign office so determent to deport Azizi?

Azizi is an Iranian refugee that after a visit to her daughter sought asylum in Canada in 2013. She is 60 years old and she deserves to live her final years in peace and with her family. Her daughter tells us that her mother suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, and back pain. She is in need of medical treatment and that will not be possible if she is deported to Iran.

Her history with the Iranian authorities is not good, She has been arrested and imprisoned for three years in Iran for being a political activist.  Her husband was executed by the regime in the 1988 massacre because of his involvement with the MEK. Azizi fears that the same will happen to her if she is deported.  She will most likely be arrested upon arrival at Imam Khomeini airport and she will be imprisoned and tortured. There is also an imminent threat of her being sentenced to death if she is deported.

Roghayeh Azizi Mirmahaleh is scheduled to be deported to Iran on Feb. 28

She is scheduled to be deported on February 28th. The Canadian immigration officials acknowledge she was imprisoned for three years in the 1980s, her daughter was just a toddler at that time, because of her involvement with the MEK. The government also acknowledge the fact that her husband was executed by the Iranian authorities in 1988. And yet they have decided to deport her to a country where the authorities do not respect human rights and are still using medieval punishments.  do the Canadian immigration office not see how the Iranian regime is treating people that do not agree with their politics? While in Canada Azizi has been active in protesting against the clerical regime in Iran and all of these protests are closely monitored by the regime. The dangers against her life become very real if she is deported, there is no doubt that she will face imprisonment and even torture.

Roghayeh Azizi Mirmahaleh, centre, takes part in protest outside the federal immigration and refugee offices in Montreal Feb. 21, 2017.

Kyle Matthews, head of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies at Concordia University, says Azizi Mirmahaleh has reason to fear for her safety. "I assume that if this person is deported back to Iran, there's a very good chance this person will end up in prison, could be tortured," Matthews said. Matthews said that it's time Iran was added to the list of countries to which Canada will not deport refugee claimants, including Somalia and Syria."Iran is not a safe country. Iran has one of the most troubling human rights records of any country on the planet."
The NCRI is strongly condemning the arrest and deportation orders of Mrs. Azizi Mirmahaleh, and they are calling the parliament, political parties, and refugee and human rights organizations in Canada to take immediate and effective measures to prevent the expulsion or extradition of Azizi. The Iranian resistance stresses that it holds the Canadian government fully responsible for her life.
Extraditing asylum seekers who have fled the hell of the mullahs regime is a violation of many international conventions, the right to asylum and universal principles of human rights for deals with a regime that has on its black record the execution of 120 000 political prisoners.
This is why we must demand that the deportation order for Mrs. Azizi is revoked.
